Family:

I was born and raised in Bloomington, IL. I am the youngest of three sisters. I was baptized and received my first communion at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and I was confirmed at St. Patrick’s Church of Merna. My husband, Ryan, and I were also married at St. Patrick’s in 2007. We have two sons, Benjamin and George, that attend Corpus Christi Catholic School (CCCS). My nieces and nephews also attended CCCS so we have a lot of school pride. We love that our children receive a strong spiritual foundation and education that will guide them for the rest of their lives.

Career and Volunteer Affiliations:

I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Marketing. Following graduation, I worked in real estate where I became a Broker. I left real estate to be a stay-at-home mom when our second son was born. I now enjoy volunteering at CCCS twice a week while working part-time at Inspyr Agency as a Creative Strategist. I also run a private Facebook group called “The LOVE IT List” where I highlight small businesses and discuss products, services, and experiences in our community and beyond. I also work with small businesses to curate boxes of products for members of The LOVE IT List to purchase exclusively. This allows them to sample products, while bringing more attention to small businesses. We donated a portion of our box proceeds to Birthright of Bloomington in 2021.

I have volunteered for the Special Olympics and The Festival of Trees. I also served as a Co-Chair for Chase for Champions which recognizes First Responders.

Reasons for serving on the FIRE Foundation Board:

I understand the importance of growing our local community by supporting small businesses. Similarly, I understand the importance of growing our Catholic Community by making Catholic School Education available to all children, especially those with special needs that require more assistance. I look forward to serving on the FIRE Foundation Board to bring more attention to this mission and raise funds to create a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
